Agility - time to have fun with your dog!

Dog agility is a fantastic way to have fun with your dog. It builds a whole range of skills and gets you working as a team. Our agility course described below is not running over the summer but we are offering one-to-one or two-to-one sessions on July 8th and 15th

What will we be doing?

HotDog Training's six week course introduces you to all the key pieces of equipment in agility - and the skills your dog needs to use them: balance, direction, speed control, and confidence. As your skills build you'll learn how to ask your dog to move between different obstacles on your way to tackling a full agility course.

What will we learn?

Fun dog agility is, above all, about learning to work as a team. Your dog will learn how to look to you for direction and you'll learn how to communicate clearly with your dog. It's brilliant for building responsiveness and focus. This course is all about having fun together, not about perfection or being 'competition ready'.

Is this right for my dog?

This is dog agility for fun, and we keep it low impact. That means it's suitable for any dog over six months old. Your dog should be able to sit and wait, have a good recall and be able to relax around other dogs.
